Hypnosis

Hypnosis is a natural state of focused relaxation and heightened awareness. It is not sleep, unconsciousness, or mind control—it is simply a way of quieting the conscious mind so the subconscious can be more open to positive suggestions and change.
Faith Compatibility
Many Christians wonder if hypnosis aligns with their faith. The truth is, hypnosis shares much in common with practices already found in Christian worship: closing your eyes, focusing your thoughts, imagining Scripture, and opening your heart to God’s leading. Hypnosis, when used ethically and with a faith-based approach, can be a powerful tool for spiritual growth and personal transformation. At Every Christian Hypnotized, we honor biblical principles and use hypnosis to help believers draw closer to Christ and overcome obstacles that hinder their walk.

How it Works: The Science & Process
Hypnosis works by guiding the mind into a relaxed, focused state—often called a “trance.” In this state, the conscious mind (which analyzes and critiques) becomes quieter, allowing the subconscious mind (where beliefs, habits, and emotions reside) to become more receptive to positive suggestions.
Brain imaging studies show that hypnosis produces measurable changes in brain activity, particularly in areas related to attention, perception, and emotional regulation. This is why hypnosis is effective for changing habits, reducing anxiety, and promoting healing.
Preparation

Suggestion
While in a relaxed state, positive, goal-oriented suggestions are offered to your subconscious mind.
