Welcome to “Every Christian Hypnotized” (ECH), a unique resource created by Dr. Scott Wykes. This book and website are dedicated to helping Christians discover the practical benefits of hypnosis in their spiritual and everyday lives.

Meet the Author

Scott Wykes, PhD, Certified Hypnotist is the founder and author of “Every Christian Hypnotized.” With a passion for spiritual growth and personal transformation, Dr. Wykes aims to bridge the gap between Christian faith and the misunderstood practice of hypnosis. Dr. Wykes believes that true transformation happens when the subconscious (spirit) is reached, allowing God to work more deeply in our lives.

ECH’s Purpose

ECH was created to introduce Christians to hypnosis as a tool for deepening their walk with Christ. The main goal is to help believers remove subconscious obstacles—such as unforgiveness, fear, jealousy, and resentment—that can hinder a full spiritual experience. Through hypnosis, many find a deeper connection with Jesus and greater freedom from unwanted habits like smoking, negative thinking, or unhealthy patterns.

Addressing Concerns

Dr. Wykes understands that hypnosis can be a challenging topic for many Christians. Misconceptions from media or even church teachings often create unnecessary fear. ECH exists to clear up these misunderstandings and show that hypnosis, when used appropriately, can be a safe and effective tool for positive change. As Dr. Wykes points out, many common church practices—like closing your eyes and imagining during prayer—are similar to hypnotic techniques.

Biblical Foundation

ECH aligns with biblical principles, specifically the scripture in 1 Thessalonians 5:23, which speaks of being sanctified in spirit, soul, and body. The book explores how the mind’s three parts—conscious, subconscious, and unconscious—relate to the biblical concepts of soul, spirit, and body.

Safety & Ethics

Hypnosis, as presented in ECH, is not about mind control. You remain fully in control during any session and will only accept suggestions that are helpful and in line with your goals. Hypnosis cannot make you act against your will, cure serious medical conditions, or erase or implant memories.
